Our Vision for the New Year

As we look ahead to a new year, I want to share our vision for OEC Fiber and what you, our valued subscribers, can expect as we enter 2026.

For the past eight years, we have focused on keeping you connected with reliable, high-quality fiber internet and the support to back it up. That foundation has served us well, and rather than reinventing the wheel, we plan to build upon it. Our goal does not include a drastic change. We will continue to do the same things you already value, just a little bit better.

As technology continues to evolve, with higher speeds and increasing demands inside the home, we are committed to staying focused on what matters most. Much like the electric side of our cooperative hyper-focuses on keeping the lights on, our fiber team remains dedicated to keeping your internet connection strong and reliable.

I often liken the evaluation of our approach to a routine doctor’s visit. If you are doing well, the advice would not be to start over. They tell you to keep doing what works and pay a little more attention as you age. That is precisely what we are doing as we continue to grow: reflecting on what has worked, making thoughtful improvements and planning for a future that keeps our focus on our subscribers.

So, as we head into the new year, our message remains straightforward. We are not chasing trends or changing who we are. We stay true to our mission by listening to our subscribers and continually improving, a little at a time.
