Lasting connections made on a reliable one is what HeyDay had in mind when they signed up for OEC Fiber.
The family-fun-centered business’s Norman location offers something for all ages, from classics like the arcade and bowling to group favorites like mini golf and laser tag. Sprinkle in the deliciousness of the HD Grill and DoubleDave’s Pizzaworks, and HeyDay has the recipe for a good time, while their themed nights and discounts keep it affordable.
“The whole mission is to invite people to come out and have fun,” said Bradi Blanco, HeyDay Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “We want to give the best experience so [customers] ultimately make memories and just cherish time together.” They offer a wide range of event packages as well.
“We do everything from our 10-person birthday, family gathering, to our exclusive whole facility buy out,” Blanco said
All of this makes HeyDay the perfect place for a fun night out or a friendly competition. But what does it take to make something like that possible? Reliable internet.
“You don’t know how much you depend on the internet until you don’t have it,” Blanco added.
More businesses are moving their work online, which makes accessing their information imperative. Cloud-based systems are quickly becoming standard so that workers can access the information they need from anywhere in the world.
These cloud-based systems ease collaborative efforts and help resolve potential issues without being on-site, resulting in a faster response time, but this kind of functionality requires a reliable internet connection at all times.
“If it [internet] goes down the business goes down along with it,” said Kevin Davenport, HeyDay Director of Facilities. “Our games won’t work. Our lanes won’t work. Our entire franchise is dependent on excellent internet connection.”
Intricately integrated systems like this offer businesses increased functionality and control, but if they go down, they do not come back online as soon as a connection is re-established.
They take time. Time that can cause a business like HeyDay to grind to a halt.
“All of our group events, all depend on Wi-Fi, we can’t survive without it.” Blanco said. “When that is down, we do not have the ability to send out our documents and book everybody’s events.”
While reliability of service is paramount, knowing someone will be there to help if the need arises is even more important.
“They really get to know your company and your needs,” said Lauren Fox, Marketing Coordinator at HeyDay. “Sometimes, with other services, you might be on the phone or waiting to get connected, so I feel like [OEC Fiber] are always doing a great job to be there to support.”
This was echoed by Davenport. He spoke of the advantages of working with a local business and the care OEC Fiber has for their consumers.
“The biggest difference with working with our past internet providers and OEC Fiber is definitely the local aspect. They care about us. It’s a great experience.” This is the kind of experience OEC Fiber strives for. We work hand in hand with businesses to build custom solutions to fit every need.
The businesses we serve aren’t just subscribers. They are partners.
“Our goal as a sales team is to build relationships with our subscribers so that we understand their needs and are able to deliver beyond their expectations,” said Michelle Hohlier, OEC Fiber’s Manager of Sales and Business Development. “We don’t just take orders and complete transactions.
Rather, we partner with our subscribers to fully understand the scope of their communication needs and serve them in the most consistent and reliable way we can.”
A reliable connection and exemplary service are helping HeyDay continue to be a place where memories are made.
OEC Fiber continues to work alongside them and all our other partners to ensure they have the connection they need to provide the experience our customers deserve. Learn more about our business solutions.
