OEC Fiber TV | How to connect the OEC Fiber TV set top box to a Wi-Fi network

  1. With the TV and set top box powered on, press the “Home” key on your remote control to return to the home/apps screen.
  2. Use the arrow keys to navigate up and to the right to the settings icon (it looks like a gear).
  3. Select the settings icon.
  4. Select “Network & Internet”.
  5. Verify the “Wi-Fi” setting is enabled.
  6. Check the list of available networks. If the box is connected to a network, it will say “Connected” underneath the network name.
    1. If the box is connected, call technical support at (405) 217-6868 and we will help you troubleshoot your network equipment.
    2. If the Wi-Fi network is not listed, try disabling and reenabling the “Wi-Fi” setting to reset the Wi-Fi radio in the set top box.
    3. If the box is not connected but the desired network name is listed, continue to step 7.
  7. Select the name of the wireless network you wish to connect to.
  8. (If necessary) Enter the network password when prompted.
  9. Once connected, you will be returned to the previous screen.
  10. Press the “Guide” button to enter the OEC Fiber TV app.
