Okie Roots Clothing Company in Oklahoma City
This one-of-a-kind shop specializes in women’s clothing, accessories, and home décor. Owner/operator Jessica Schmidt took her 20 years of corporate retail experience and turned it into fuel to make her dream of owning her own shop a reality. She didn’t want people to have the same experience they did everywhere else. She wanted her store to be something special.
“So many times I’ve been out shopping, and I don’t get so much as a hello,” said Schmidt. “I take a special interest in getting to know everyone that walks through my door. I want them to feel special when they leave.”
This commitment to a positive customer experience gives the shop a warm, inviting atmosphere. A few other pop-up shops are set up in the store from time to time, allowing even more people the opportunity to experience the hospitality Okie Roots has to offer.
